How to learn to read the Qurʾān, step by step
If you have only ever read the Qurʾān through English transliteration, learning to read the Arabic script can feel out of reach. It isn’t. Reading the Qurʾān is a single skill — turning the marks on the page into the correct sounds — and it is learned one small step at a time. This free course follows the time-tested Noorani Qāʿidah method: you start with the letters, then the vowels, then join them into words, until you can read the muṣḥaf itself.
Each lesson introduces just one idea and lets you tap any letter to hear it, see where it is made in the mouth, and watch how it changes shape inside a word. Tajwīd — the rules of correct pronunciation — is woven in from the very first letter, because reading the Qurʾān correctly comes before reading it beautifully.
