Al-Falaq — The Dawn
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
113:1
The Dawn
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ١
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak
113:2
The Dawn
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ٢
from the evil of whatever He has created
113:3
The Dawn
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ٣
and from the evil of the night when it grows dark
113:4
The Dawn
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ٤
and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots
113:5
The Dawn
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ٥
and from the evil of an envier when they envy.”
